Angola – Brian’s file Part 2 – Kissama Game Park

January 23, 2010

Parc National Kissama

Following photos were shot in September 2008 by colleague Brian Boone. Brian was incredibly lucky. He saw much more during this one day visit than I ever did during several visits.  The last time I went there was with John Bonyun, in May 2009. That time we did not even see moskitos…

December 27, 2009

The Torres Atalantico was officially inaugurated Friday December 18, in the presence of the President of Angola. I unfortunately missed this event since I relocated from Luanda to Brisbane last November.

Torres Atlantico

November 4, 2009

The construction of the Torres Atlantico complex is finally coming to an end, more than 2 years later than expected. The occupation of the office building started a couple of weeks ago and is progressing gradually. At term approximately 1500 people will be working there. The occupation of the apartments started already in June.

DSCN1526The vegetation growth on the site cabins underlines the delay.
